Coronavirus Protocol

Before You Arrive

  • We confirm current health status of all patients (absence of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny or stuffy nose, fatigue, or diarrhea) and travel history within the last 14 days

When You Arrive

  • All patients sign a health declaration form and get temperature checked; if anyone has a fever they will be advised to seek medical treatment, and their appointment will be rescheduled
  • Hand sanitizer is available in the waiting area

When You Enter The Treatment Room

  • All patients rinse with an antiseptic mouth rinse prior to commencement of treatment
  • All staff wear full personal protective equipment, and high-speed evacuation suction devices are employed to reduce aerosol spray

After You Leave

  • All single-use items are properly disposed of; reusable instruments are packaged and autoclaved to hospital standards
  • All soiled single-use gowns and masks are disposed of immediately; non-disposable items are properly disinfected after every patient
  • Treatment rooms are thoroughly disinfected after each patient; common areas including the waiting room are wiped down with a hospital-grade disinfectant solution frequently

Things Happening In The Background

  • All staff have their temperature checked when they report for work in the morning to ensure no one has a fever
  • All staff are encouraged to wear surgical masks for the entire duration of the work day; any time staff members exit the office, upon re-entry they must use provided alcohol hand sanitizer
  • Frequent meetings with the whole team to ensure we are adhering to current guidelines, and doing everything possible during this critical period

We believe that with these measures in place, we can safely continue to treat you during this outbreak of Coronavirus! Of course, if you would prefer to reschedule your appointment for a later date, we would be happy to accommodate your request as well.
